experience and tradition unlike so many others
Roy and Tami Gillean continue a fine tradition of dining that’s lasted for over 50 years. They offer catering services, both on and off site, and they take a lot of pride in the quality of their ingredients and the selection of drinks behind our bar. They’re friendly too, so feel free to say hi if you seem them at the restaurant.Call (432) 337-4142 menu
The Legendary Barn Door is unlike other steakhouses, and once you step inside, you’ll see why. For one, our building has a history as a railway stop that dates all the way back to 1893. Then, when you get to your table, you’ll see people ordering rich seafood and USDA Choice Angus steaks that we age and carve in house. Once you order, you’ll get a hot loaf of homemade bread and a block of Wisconsin cheese to go with it, a part of our down-home hospitality we’ve become known for in Odessa. We’ve been serving West Texas since 1963, and we can’t wait for you to experience the tradition for yourself.
Established in 1963.
The Legendary Barn Door Steakhouse got its name for a good reason. The legend started in 1893 with the Pecos Depot train station, which we relocated to Odessa and have preserved as a part of our restaurant. The other part of the legend, though, is our steaks, aged in house from USDA Choice Angus beef. Come by for dinner or lunch sometime and experience the legend for yourself.
